Usage
Rubber processing additiveSolvent oil can be used as a softener and plasticizer for rubber. During the rubber mixing process, it can penetrate between rubber molecular chains, increase the distance between rubber molecular chains, and reduce the hardness and modulus of rubber. For example, in the processing of natural rubber, adding an appropriate amount of solvent oil can make the rubber softer and easier for subsequent molding processes such as extrusion and calendering. It can also improve the stickiness of rubber. During rubber laminating and other processing processes, solvent oil can give the rubber surface appropriate stickiness to facilitate the lamination between different rubber parts. For example, when manufacturing automobile tires, different parts of the tire (such as tread, sidewall, inner liner, etc.) need to be laminated. Solvent oil can help these parts bond better together. Solvent-based rubber adhesiveUsed for preparing solvent-based rubber adhesive. Solvent oil can dissolve rubber components to form a viscous adhesive. This adhesive can be used for bonding between rubber and rubber, and between rubber and other materials (such as metal, plastic). For example, in shoe manufacturing, solvent-based rubber adhesive can firmly bond the sole rubber and upper material together to ensure the quality and service life of shoes.
Solvent oil is an important industrial solvent. At present, there are about 400 to 500 kinds of solvents on the market. Its application is mainly to achieve specific goals through processes such as dissolution and volatilization. Solvent oil has a very wide range of uses. The largest consumption is first of all paint solvent oil (commonly known as paint thinner), followed by solvent oils for edible oils, printing inks, leather, pesticides, insecticides, rubber, cosmetics, fragrances, medicine, electronic components, etc. The "water" used by laundry shops to clean high-end clothing is actually dry-cleaning solvent oil.
Solvent oil is one of the five major categories of petroleum products. Solvent oil has a wide range of uses. The most widely used is coating solvent oil (commonly known as paint solvent oil), followed by edible oils, printing inks, leather, pesticides, insecticides, rubber, cosmetics, fragrances, pharmaceuticals, electronic components, and other solvent oils. There are about 400-500 kinds of solvents sold on the market, of which solvent oil (hydrocarbon solvents, benzene compounds) accounts for about half. Solvent oil is a complex mixture of hydrocarbons and is highly flammable and explosive. Therefore, from production, storage and transportation to use, it is necessary to strictly prevent the occurrence of fires.
