Usage
The Chinese aliases of L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate trisodium salt include sodium ascorbyl phosphate, SAP and sodium L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate ester. L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate trisodium salt can be used as an intermediate for pharmaceutical and chemical synthesis.
This product is used as a scientific research reagent and is widely applied in scientific research aspects such as molecular biology and pharmacology. It is strictly prohibited to be used on humans. L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate (AA2P) is used for biocatalytic dephosphorylation and for power generation and electrochemical detection assays. L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate can be used in cell differentiation and tissue engineering applications. Asc-2P is used in the research on gene suppression, for example, to suppress the expression of dickkopf-1 induced by dihydrotestosterone. L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate trisodium salt can also serve as a catalytic substrate for alkaline phosphatase. Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) is an important biomarker, and its abnormal expression is associated with a variety of diseases such as breast cancer, prostate cancer, bone diseases, diabetes and liver dysfunction. It can also be used in the preparation of a photoelectrochemical parathion sensor.
