usage

Gasoline antiknock agent: methyl cyclopentadiene tricarbonyl manganese, MMT for short. Under combustion conditions, MMT decomposes into particles of active manganese oxide. Due to the effect of its surface, it destroys the oxides generated in the automobile engine, leading to the reduction of peroxide concentration in the pre flame reaction. At the same time, it selectively interrupts part of the chain reaction, thus hindering automatic ignition, slowing down the speed of energy release, and improving the antiknock property of the fuel.

Increase the octane number of gasoline, add 1/10000 MMT into gasoline, and the manganese content shall not exceed 18mg/L, which can increase the octane number of gasoline by 2-3 units. Improve vehicle power performance, reduce fuel consumption, have good compatibility with oxygen containing components such as MTBE and ethanol, reduce pollutant emissions in vehicle exhaust, and increase the flexibility of oil blending. Gasoline products of various specifications can be blended through reasonable use of MMT, MTBE, reforming gasoline, catalytic gasoline, and straight run gasoline.
