Usage
This product is the main raw material for cyanide-free electroplating. When formulated into a cyanide-free copper electroplating solution, it has good bonding strength when directly electroplating a copper layer on sodium iron. The coating is smooth and has a good luster. Generally, the dosage of the product with a content of 60% is 100 - 120 ml/L. The dosage of copper sulfate is 15 - 20 g/L. In addition, before electroplating, immerse the plating parts in a 1% - 2% solution of this product to make the plating parts turn into an activated state. Electroplating after this step can further improve the effect. Hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid (HEDP) is a new type of chlorine-free electroplating complexing agent. It is used as the main agent for water quality stabilization in the circulating cooling water system, playing the role of corrosion inhibition and scale prevention. This product is one of the organic polyphosphonic acid water treatment agents. There are also some other varieties of this kind of products produced in China, such as amino trimethylene phosphonic acid (ATMP): [CH2PO(OH)2]3N, and ethylenediamine tetra(methylene phosphonic acid) (EDTMP), etc. Organic polyphosphonic acids were developed in the late 1960s and were recognized around the 1970s. The emergence of this kind of water treatment agents has advanced water treatment technology by a big step. Compared with inorganic polyphosphates, organic polyphosphonic acids have good chemical stability, are not easy to hydrolyze, can withstand relatively high temperatures, require a small dosage of the agent, and also have the properties of both corrosion and scale inhibition. They are a kind of cathodic corrosion inhibitors and also a kind of non-stoichiometric scale inhibitors. When used in combination with other water treatment agents, they show an ideal synergistic effect. They have excellent chelating ability for many metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, copper, and zinc. They even have a good deactivation effect on the inorganic salts of these metals, such as CaSO4, CaCO3, MgSiO3, etc. Therefore, they are widely used in water treatment technology. Phosphorylating reagents are used for protected serine and pyranose.
