Usage
Arbutin belongs to the hydroquinone glycoside compounds. Its chemical name is 4-Hydroquinone-alpha-D-glucopyranoside. It exists in plants such as bearberry and bilberry, and it is a newly emerging natural whitening active substance with no irritation, no allergy and strong compatibility on Chemicalbook. There are two structural and functional functional groups in the molecular structure of arbutin: one is the glucose residue, and the other is the phenolic hydroxyl group. Alpha-arbutin is in the physical state of a white to light gray powder and is relatively soluble in water and ethanol.
